Open Designer →Google Reviews directly impact your business visibility. Businesses with more positive reviews rank higher in local search results, appear more prominently on Google Maps, and earn more trust from potential customers. A difference of 0.5 stars can mean a 25% change in click-through rates.
The problem: most happy customers do not leave reviews on their own. They need a nudge — and the easier you make it, the more reviews you get.
A QR code eliminates every friction point. No searching for your business, no navigating to the review page, no figuring out where to click. One scan and the review form is open.
Before creating the QR code, you need the direct link to your review page:
Method 1 — Google Search:
Method 2 — Google Business Profile:
Method 3 — Google Maps:
The URL will look something like https://search.google.com/local/writereview?placeid=YOUR_PLACE_ID. This is the link you paste into the QR code designer.
The best placement catches customers right after a positive experience:
Ask at the right moment. The best time is immediately after a positive interaction — when the meal was great, the haircut is perfect, or the repair is done. Place the QR code where customers are happiest.
Keep the signage simple. “Scan to leave a review” with a star icon is enough. Do not write a paragraph explaining what Google Reviews is.
Do not incentivize reviews. Google’s policies prohibit offering discounts or rewards in exchange for reviews. Ask genuinely, never bribe.
Respond to reviews. Customers are more likely to leave reviews when they see the business owner responding to existing ones. It signals that you care.
Make it visible but not aggressive. A small table card works. A poster-sized “REVIEW US” sign feels desperate. Subtle and convenient beats loud and pushy.
